Robert Anthony Navarro
Robert is an award-winning Producer/Composer and multi-instrumentalist that has been creating music for nearly three decades. Classically trained with a BA in Music Composition, Robert’s diverse influences range from The Beatles to Metallica, and from Tom Waits to John Williams. His list of teachers and mentors reads like a Who’s Who of celebrity musicians, from Bruce Bouillet of Racer-X to KUSC’s own Alan Chapman; each of whom has had a tremendous impact on Robert’s development as an artist and a musician – leading to many interesting collaborations with various well-known composers and songwriters including legendary lyricist Hal David.
A former Music Director and Metadata and Taxonomy Specialist for APM, Robert now oversees APM’s Custom Department and Indie Artist Initiative. Notable credits include Universal Pictures ‘Fast & Furious’, ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Football’ theme, The NY Giants Theme, The Kansas City Royals Baseball theme, and several popular video game titles including Twisted Metal Black (Sony), Dragon Age: Origins (Bioware), Naruto: The Broken Bond & Rise Of A Ninja (Ubisoft), and FIFA Manager ’07 (EA Sports).
